As spring arrives, we marked the return of our seasonal blood donation drive with a special milestone. For the first time, Hung Hing welcomed the Red Cross Mobile Blood Donation Vehicle to our site.  By utilising only a small footprint in our parking lot, we were able to create a significant impact for the community.  Despite a light morning drizzle before the vehicle’s arrival, the weather cleared just in time for the drive to begin under bright, sunny skies.

The mobile unit proved to be a "mini-hospital" on wheels — compact yet fully equipped with a consultation desk, nursing station, waiting area, donation zone, and recovery lounge.  On-site staff shared that each mobile outing can collect approximately 30 units of blood, with each unit capable of saving an average of three lives.  During this spring drive, 19 Hung Hing colleagues successfully completed their donations, providing vital support to the regional blood bank and reaffirming our commitment to social responsibility.

While the venue was modest in size, the enthusiasm of our team was boundless, with their actions igniting hope for those in need.  We extend our sincere gratitude to every "Hero" who stepped forward; your generosity travels with the mobile unit to every corner of the city.  We look forward to seeing even more of our colleagues roll up their sleeves at the next event to keep this life-saving tradition moving forward!
