The BelugaBloo Team has entered into an agreement with CIDE-INTERACTIVE for our first ever pre-load deal with a device manufacturer. CIDE-INTERACTIVE manufactures the child-friendly KURIO Tablets and the deal means all KURIO Tablets (7-inch and 10-inch) sold will be pre-loaded with the BELUGABLOO APP. The pre-loaded app will no doubt be able to increase BelugaBloo’s customer base and drive traffic and sales to the store. With thousands and thousands of APPS available in the market, this will give BelugaBloo an instant advantage, as well as providing value added benefit to publishers/partners who are already engaged with BelugaBloo to use this technology to extend the reach of children’s books. CIDE-INTERACTIVE will begin shipping the KURIO Tablets this month to North America and European countries, and we expect to see the tablets to hit the stores very soon.
About CIDE-Interactive and KURIO (http://www.cidegroup.com)
CIDE-INTERACTIVE is a French based global toy industry leading-edge company dedicated to incorporating new technologies with learning and the development of childhood comprehension. The company manufactures the child-friendly Kurio Tablets. Kurio is a 7” multi-touch-screen Wi-Fi-enabled tablet with an open Android system that allows parents to monitor and control their child’s interaction while online. Advanced parental controls – found in a password protected parental area – enable management of internet access, application store access and purchase control, time control options, and more. Parents can set different controls for each user profile, expanding access as the child becomes older.
About BelugaBloo Team (http://www.belugabloo.com)
BELUGABLOO Team aims to provide a complementary and value-added service to children’s book publishers to explore opportunity in the rapidly growing e-book market. The team has developed a proprietary e-bookstore platform, BELUGABLOO APP, that runs on popular tablets and smartphones powered by iOS and Android operating systems. The BELUGABLOO APP enables end-users to view a catalog of APPS – including interactive e-books, games, and educational applications – and to download, register and purchase licenses to use such content.
